Melissa Fitzgerald

After years of friends, colleagues and family telling her she really had the skills, talent and personality to work in real estate – Melissa Fitzgerald realized it was truly her passion and went on to get licensed as a REALTOR®.

Spending her early years growing up with family in North Alabama, Melissa obtained her BS Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and moved to the Lake Oconee area in 2007.

Having been in this area since that time, she has seen a good amount of growth and built an extensive knowledge base of the surrounding areas.

Being a “by the numbers” person, understanding how to value a property and negotiate a contract are some of the skills Melissa has diligently honed over the past few years. She has a natural talent to connect with people and will tell you “I take my clients to heart!

Talk about relationships – Her husband Keith drove from Georgia to Alabama to take her out on a blind date set up by mutual friends and they’ve been together ever since, now with three daughters, one grandchild and one family fur baby. Melissa and Keith have been here in the Lake County over fifteen years, have a deep appreciation for the relaxed feel of the local communities and enjoy down time with a wide circle of family and friends whenever time allows.

Looking towards the future, Melissa is excited about the continued growth and demand in the Lake Country area. Always excited about meeting new clients and patiently working with them to find their dream home is her mission every day.
